


Fair Lawn Resident Louis Weiss Appointed to Gilda’s Club

HACKENSACK, NJ – Louis Weiss of Fair Lawn – CEO at the construction firm WFM Project & Construction Associates – was recently appointed to the board of directors at Gilda’s Club Northern New Jersey (Gilda’s Club NNJ).
“I am honored to join Gilda’s Club Northern New Jersey in its mission to support families in our community who are dealing with a cancer diagnosis,” said Weiss. “I look forward to assisting the nonprofit in its mission to create welcoming, safe communities for anyone touched by cancer.”
Gilda’s Club NNJ, a nonprofit based in Hackensack, offers social and emotional support services, free of charge, to all men, women, teenagers and children who are touched by cancer. Named for the late comedian Gilda Rader of Saturday Night Live, the clubhouse offers lectures, workshops, social events and support groups.
“We are pleased to welcome Louis Weiss to our board ,” said Ruth Dugan, board president of Gilda’s Club NNJ. “His proven leadership qualities will be invaluable as Gilda’s Club continues to grow and expand its support services in 2010.”
Weiss currently serves as executive board member for the Commerce & Industry Association of New Jersey. He is a trustee for both the Bergen County College Foundation and NJ Small Business Development Centers (NJSBDC) . Weiss is also chair to both the Fair Lawn Competivization Committee and the Fair Lawn Community Center.
