Youth Program:  Noogieland and Teens Together
Noogieland, named after the noogies that Bill Murray gave to Gilda Radner on Saturday Night Live, is both the Gilda's Club program and play area for children and teens. Weekly support groups are offered in the evenings and are for children ages 5-12. The children participate in an art-based activity that is developmentally appropriate and targets the cancer experience.

Noogieland Offerings for Children Include –
Kid Support™ in Noogieland, offered for children 3-12 years old, is a peer support group for children who have a parent, grandparent, other family member or friend with cancer (either in treatment or post-treatment), or for children who have cancer themselves. This group offers children ages 3-12 an opportunity to make friends and learn skills to help them when cancer is in their lives. This group meets Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8pm.

Grief Busters, also offered for children 3-12 years old, is a peer support group for children who have lost a family member or friend to cancer. Through age appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, stories, poems, and games, children are given the opportunity for expressing and processing the death of a loved one. This group meets Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8pm.

Teens Together –
Teens Together is an alternative to Noogieland for teens only. 13-18 year olds who have been touched by cancer meet in a group setting in our Coffee Talk Room to share pizza, stories, friendship and to gain support through fun activities. Teens Together will meet on the first Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8pm.
