Gilda's Club Northern New Jersey was the 8th affiliate to open and officially opened it's signature red door on April 13, 2000. Almost every family in northern New Jersey has confronted cancer. Almost every person in northern New Jersey has watched a family member or friend struggle with the fear and isolation that a cancer diagnosis brings. And almost every person in that situation would benefit from a place like Gilda's Club - support will be needed, at some point, by virtually everyone.
