Tuesday Evening Living with Loss
A support group that meets on a weekly basis for any adult who has lost a loved one to cancer.
Tuesdays – 6:00 - 7:30pm
Living With Cancer Groups
A support group that meets on a weekly basis for anyone who is currently living with cancer, this includes but is not limited to: people who are newly diagnosed, people who are currently going through treatment, people who are living with metastatic cancer, people who are dealing with a recurrence of cancer and those who recently completed treatment.
Tuesday Afternoons – 12:30 - 2:00pm : Tuesday evenings – 6-7:30pm
Thursday Evenings – 6:00 - 7:30pm
Monthly Networking Groups address a particular kind of cancer or topic of common interest. Our Monthly Networking Groups include: Blood, Breast, Colon, Gynecological, Lung, Pancreatic, Prostate, Young Adults Living with Cancer, Living Life After Treatment.

These activities provide opportunities for acquiring new skills, tools, information and techniques to learn how to live with cancer. Typical lecture topics, which are selected based on members’ interests, include stress reduction, advances in the treatment of cancer, nutrition, talking to your children about cancer, financial, legal and insurance information and managing pain. Major workshop areas include creative art expressions and other forms of self-expression, meditation, Qi gong, Tai Chi, various forms of yoga in addition to book clubs, game afternoons and scrapbooking.
These are popular activities for our membership and vary from potluck suppers with entertainment to bingo nights to comedy nights to celebrations around special holidays. Having members and families come together for fun creates bonds that enhance other individual and group experiences.
