Immediate Release – December 13, 2011
HACKENSACK, NJ – Gilda’s Club Northern New Jersey recently hosted a free cancer support and resource fair where more than 20 local and national organizations presented a range of information to individuals touched by cancer. Participating groups helped guests explore available options to address the challenges associated with a cancer diagnosis, such as financial assistance programs available for transportation services and medication. Organizations also answered questions about employment concerns for people living with cancer, and provided information on how to better understand home care and hospice care options available to those fighting cancer.
